My favorite memory is when I came to the U.S. and when I started the
first language program at Clark University. I was very scared because I had a placement
test and I was too nervous until I came back to my home. When I went on the first
day at school, I felt comfortable in the class because I liked my classmate and
they were nice and helpful. This is the best memory because it was the first
experience in my life to be on my own and also it was my dream to learn English
in the U.S.
It's great you had a good experience starting out with English. I know that I had a bad experience when I started to learn Arabic, and so I stopped and never reached my goal. Look at yourself now - you've learned so much English already! It's a wonderful feeling to be able to communicate in another language.
